| We were so looking forward to seeing Addison and parents when they came through Alabama but it was not to be. Courtney had the H1N1 flu and could not have any company or spend the night visitors. With Xmas about here we will have to work something out to get together while you are in this area. Courtney picked out a special doll for Addison and was anxious to give it to her. We thought you would check on Courtney before heading to Florida but everyone is so busy this time of year. Santa is coming soon and we are all ready to see what he brings. Courtney is looking forward to being 'the baby center' (that is her words) for Addison when she comes to see us. Christmas is so exciting for, especially, the younger kids. | We had the opportunity to see Addison this past Tuesday while the parents were vacationing and I can not believe what a sheer joy she, Addison, was while we took her out in Dothan to Fun Zone for several hours. We had a great time with her. Courtney had a good time holding her cousin and playing with Addison all day. She is such a good baby. This certainly will NOT be the last time we intend to see her like this. It was so hard to have to give her back to Angelia when we had to leave. | |||

What a BEAUTIFUL baby girl. Just like her mother. I was so anxious to look at her and be assured that you both were okay. As we sit here and go through the pictures over and over I am so thankful that she will have a great life ahead of her now. CONGRATULATIONS !! Ever Courtney remarked how pretty Addison was and can not wait to hold her in person. I can remember holding Elaine for the first time and the emotions that I had. No words can describe the feeling. Thank you for sharing this happy time with us. You will relive all of this on all her birthdays and have such wonderful memories. Tommy was 34 last Friday and I looked at pictures and remembered all the excitement and love showered on him and our family. Daddy and Mother came to Birmingham even though they had just been that weekend. The picture of Daddy and Jonathan is priceless. Daddy was a man of few words but he loved his grandchildren more than ya'll will ever know. He is looking down and beaming with pride at how his grandchildren have grown up and he is thankful as we all are of all the grands and now the greats that are arriving. | The countdown continues now as it passes 40 days to go and the tension (and circumference of Elaine's stomach) builds as we all await Addison as an addition to all our families. As I talk to you weekly Elaine I feel almost a part of this blessed event all the way to Alabama. I am making plans to come see my newest granddaughter and trying to figure what I would like to do to celebrate her arrival. This is a truly exciting time for us all. Sitting here at 1AM thinking about when Jonathan and I worked together two things popped into my head: #1) Tim Cochran and I driving EVERYONE home one night after going to dinner at Sabor Latino (Jon nearly fainting the next morning at work at Brookwood) and #2) ROLL ON!
